Your Uranus sign may match a friend's even if your Sun signs differ. That's common: some chart bodies move through the zodiac slowly enough for many people to share a sign. Slower than me waking up from a nap, even.
Three slow chart symbols
Modern Western astrology often groups Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto as generational planets. Each can stay in one zodiac sign for years. So many people born around the same time share those sign placements, like a whole litter sharing one nest.
A shared sign is not a shared personality
A shared Pluto sign tells you something about the period when two people were born, not how either of them must think or act. Astrologers who use these bodies read them alongside the rest of a chart. A single sign can't describe a whole generation.
Different traditions use different sets
If these three bodies are missing from a chart, check its method. Traditional approaches may focus on the seven classical chart bodies, from the Sun and Moon through Saturn. You can start by noticing which symbols your own chart includes.
A few common questions
Why is Pluto included if it is a dwarf planet?
Astronomy classifies Pluto as a dwarf planet. 'Generational planet' is an astrological grouping name, not its astronomical classification.
